This ocean safari is the perfect activity for anyone that is dreaming of diving with Whale Sharks in Mozambique. Whale Sharks frequent the area of Tofinho Bay, Praia do Tofo and it’s the perfect place to swim alongside them.
This activity is family-friendly and no diving experience is required.
Your Ocean Safari Experience
Meet at our dive centre in Tofo central mid-morning or afternoon. Get on your gear which includes a wetsuit, snorkel with mask and fins. Join us for a stroll to the beach and hop on our rubber duck during a surf launch from Tofo beach.
Onboard is a qualified skipper and divemaster. Take in the sights as we slowly cruise around the bay scouting for Whale Sharks. Once we see them, we drop the swimmers near them. You can now swim alongside them however be sure to keep to the code of conduct which includes no touching. For roughly 2 hours we will cruise around the bay and stop by as many whale sharks as possible.
