15 Day SA Explorer

Day 1 & 2

Today you will arrive into Cape Town International off your flight.
Collect rental car at airport and drive to Breakwater Lodge, V & A Waterfront Cape Town.
Accommodation at The Breakwater Lodge is in standard rooms with breakfast.

DAY 2

Today you will embark on a fully guided Table Mountain & Robben Island Tour. Included is lunch and a free t-shirt. Pick up and drop off at your hotel.
Overnight Breakwater Lodge.

Day 3 & 4

Today you have the choice of either a fully guided Cape Winelands Tour OR a Cape Peninsula Tour. Pick up and drop off at your hotel.
Overnight Breakwater Lodge.

DAY 4:

After breakfast you will make your way to the beautiful fishing village Gansbaai via one of the most scenic coastal routes in the Western Cape.
Overnight at The Roundhouse Guesthouse in a luxury suite with breakfast.

Day 5 & 6

Today you will undertake one of the most thrilling and exhilarating experiences of your life… meeting the Great White Sharks! Gansbaai has become world known as the Great White Shark Capitol of the World, and with good reason. A mere 20 minute boat ride will take you the Great Whites. This is a 3 to 4 hour tour including snacks and drinks, fresh towels and all kit required.
Overnight at The Roundhouse Guesthouse.

DAY 6:

This morning you will have a second opportunity to see and cage dive with The Great Whites. After your shark trip make your way to the most popular town on our world famous Garden Route, Knysna. Driving the Garden Route you will experience Mother Nature’s beauty and tranquility as you will only a few places in the world.
Overnight The Knysna Quays in a superior lagoon facing room with breakfast.

Day 7 & 8

After breakfast you will embark on exploring the Garden Route further, making your way to Port Elizabeth, the end of the Garden Route. Do not forget to turn of the N2 to Cape St Francis…you will not be disappointed!
Overnight The Marine Hotel, Port Elizabeth in a standard sea facing room with breakfast.

DAY 8:

This morning you will fly from Port Elizabeth to Durban. So after breakfast make you way to the airport and leave your rental car at the airport.
At the Durban Airport a Scuba Mozambique representative will await your arrival. You will be transferred to the Scuba Addicts Lodge in Umkomaas where you will stay for the next 3 nights.
Accommodation is in standard rooms with breakfast.

Day 9 & 10

For these two days you will do two Protea Banks/Aliwal Shoal dives and one Tiger Shark dive. Dive briefings will be done the day before each dive. Weather conditions will be the dominant factor in choosing the reefs dived.

Day 11, 12 & 13

Today you will be transferred to Durban Airport with a flight from Durban to Nelspruit.
A Scuba Mozambique representative will await your arrival at the airport and be transferred to Grand Kruger Lodge.
Welcome drinks on arrival! You will also enjoy a taste of what is to come in the next few days with a local safari drive.
Accommodation for the next 3 nights are at Grand Kruger Lodge is in a luxury suite with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 12 & 13:

On these 2 days you will experience one 8 hour, one 4 hour and one night drive; all in Kruger National Park in open safari vehicles and fully guided.

Day 14 & 15

After breakfast you will be transferred to Nelspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. At Johannesburg Airport you will be transferred to Airport Grand Hotel.
Accommodation is in a standard room with breakfast.

DAY 15:

After breakfast you will check out of the hotel. A transfer to OR Tambo (Johannesburg International Airport) will be available to you at no extra costs for your onward travel arrangements.
